ABOUT CHAMBER OBSCURA

Melbourne-based ensemble Chamber Obscura perform original tango and flamenco compositions, Astor Piazzolla and afro-cuban works.

The ensemble features four talented instrumentalists- Kieran Ray (guitar), Sophie Dunn (violin), Suzanne Andrews (piano) and Phil Mcleod (accordion/double bass).

Their collective experience performing throughout Australia and internationally culminates in a deeply sensitive approach to ensemble-playing, combining classical skill with virtuosic improvisation. They bring refined and refreshing expertise to a range of chamber works in vibrant and intimate live performances.
